Toyota 4Runner: Installation

INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (See page ).


PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


6. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 nuts and screw.

Torque:

Nut :

30 N·m {306 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf}

8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


9. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH


10. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH


11. INSTALL AIR INTAKE DUCT LH

(a) Install the air intake duct LH with the 2 screws.

(b) Install the clip and bolt.

12. INSTALL AIR INTAKE DUCT RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER

(a) Install the front lower bumper cover with the 4 bolts and clip.

14. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT (for 4WD)

(a) Install the cool air intake duct with the 4 clips.

15. INSTALL UPPER CENTER FRONT BUMPER RETAINER


16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) Connect the 3 connectors.

(b) Attach the 14 claws to install the front bumper cover with radiator grille.

(c) Install the 3 bolts, 10 screws and 6 clips.

17. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL


18. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIMING
