NOTICE:
Do not heat the moulding excessively.
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL FRONT FENDER OUTSIDE MOULDING PAD LH
HINT:
Only follow this procedure when replacing the front fender outside moulding pad LH.
(a) Install a new front fender outside moulding pad LH in the position shown in the illustration.
2. INSTALL REAR DOOR NO. 1 MOULDING PAD
(a) Clean the rear door outside moulding surface.
(1) Using a heat light, heat the rear door outside moulding surface.
(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the rear door outside moulding surface.
(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
(b) Install a new rear door No. 1 outside moulding pad. (1) Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new rear door No. 1 outside moulding pad. HINT: After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter. (2) Install the rear door No. 1 outside moulding pad. |

3. INSTALL REAR DOOR UPPER OUTSIDE MOULDING PAD
(a) Clean the rear door outside moulding surface.
(1) Using a heat light, heat the rear door outside moulding surface.
(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the rear door outside moulding surface.
(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
(b) Install a new rear door upper outside moulding pad. (1) Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new rear door upper outside moulding pad. HINT: After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter. (2) Install the rear door upper outside moulding pad. |

4. INSTALL NO. 1 QUARTER PANEL MOULDING PAD
(a) Clean the rear quarter outside moulding surface.
(1) Using a heat light, heat the rear quarter outside moulding surface.
(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the rear quarter outside moulding surface.
(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
(b) Install a new No. 1 quarter panel moulding pad. (1) Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new No. 1 quarter panel moulding pad. HINT: After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter. (2) Install the No. 1 quarter panel moulding pad as shown in the illustration. |
