PROCEDURE

1. |
INSPECT ABS WARNING LIGHT |
(a) Disconnect the A6 skid control ECU connector.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Check that the ABS warning light comes on.
OK:
ABS warning light comes on.

REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID |

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE |
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Connect the A6 skid control ECU connector.
(c) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(e) Turn the Techstream on.
(f) Select CAN Bus Check from the System Selection Menu screen and follow the
prompts on the screen to inspect the CAN bus (See page
).
OK:
CAN Bus Check indicates no malfunctions in CAN communication.
